I love to work on rocketry, mechanical design, and simulation projects, most of which I pursued through my participation in ARES Rocketry (my university's rocketry team), These extra-curricular projects allowed me to continuously devleop my experience in mechanical design, CAD, FEA and CFD simulations, as well as manufacturing and testing processes.

Besides my student rocketry projects, I undertook a mechanical engineering internship at Savic Motorcycles, during which I prototyped production-ready motorcycle components (including a headlight mounting bracket and side fairings), performed quality control inspections, as well as updated assembly procedures and BOMs,

Through student rocketry and coursework, I frequently work in multi-disciplinary, collaborative projects. In my current role as aerostructures lead in ARES Rocketry, I work closely with my fellow co-leads to coordinate design, manufacturing, and simulation/research projects for a team of 24 students.

In my spare time, I enjoy working on casual projects inspired by my hobbies, as well as experimenting with design and manufacturing techniques. For instance, as an avid Formula 1 fan, I designed and built a display case to showcase my diecast F1 model cars.

As an aspiring mechanical engineer, I always look to expand my engineering knowledge and skillset beyond coursework. I am currently seeking internships for the upcoming summer, where I am particularly excited for opportunities to explore mechanical design, simulations, and.or manufacturing.

As you may gather from my work, I have a keen interest in rocketry and aerospace systems. Since my second year, I have been a member of ARES, and served as a student engineer in its Structures sub-team.

Being part of the ARES rocketry team has allowed me to acquire valuable experience in CAD design, finite element analysis, as well as manufacturing and testing processes.

My involvement with the rocketry team is also a testament of my ability to collaborate in a multi-disciplinary project, where I frequently work alongside students from many different engineering disciplines as well as members with non-engineering backgrounds.

In my spare time, I enjoy working on short, casual projects, which are often inspired by my hobbies, current interests, as well as experimentation with design/manufacturing techniques.

These projects are also especially fulfilling as they provide opportunities for me to upskill myself and improve my engineering knowledge.

As an aspiring mechanical engineer, I'm driven to expand my engineering knowledge and skillset beyond my coursework. Presently, my experience includes an internship at an electric motorcycle company as well as several R&D projects for ARES.

I'm currently seeking internships for the upcoming summer, and am excited for opportunities to explore my interests in the industry and make meaningful contributions.

I also plan to apply to graduate programs in mechanical engineering in the near future, where I hope to specialize in fluid mechanics or propulsion.
